My Sexy Saturday.
This week’s theme is Sexy Today.
We all have our idea of sexy and it means so much more than it did fifty years
ago. Sexy can be any age and many are saying that being in your 50s is the new
40s because people live longer, love longer and enjoy a quality of life longer like
no other time before. This week is all about being sexy today no matter what
your age.
What comes to mind for us is love
at every age: the widow finding romance after her period of mourning, the
middle aged spinster suddenly finding herself in the throes of lust, the
schoolgirl who falls for someone knowing she has to wait a few years before she
can make her move. All these and more are about love today. It can be about an
older divorcee who never thought she’d find herself without her husband but
discovers she’s still sexy. Or how about the career woman who didn’t have time
only to realize there’s no time left and she needs to figure it out
immediately. Or how about the heiress that needs to find a man to get the family
fortune. All this and more epitomizes love today.
These are exciting books that
you as a reader just can’t put down and you as an author love writing. We love
how you weave your tales to enchant us, to entice us and to leave us with that
‘ah’ moment through the way characters interact with words, situations and each
other. Again, we leave the particulars up to you since you do it so, so well. Remember,
our sexiness can happen anywhere, anytime, day or night. People fall in love in
many different ways. It could be on a date, at a school dance, on a hike, with
the boy or girl next door, just anywhere two or sometimes more people or beings
are drawn together because of that feeling called love.
We all know that love happens
and we want to know all about those special moments where those entities
realize there is an emotional bond between one another through their words and
actions. It can happen on an average day, during the night, in the middle of a
zombie invasion or maybe a place where it’s hard to tell the day from the night
like in a submarine or deep in space. Adventures one and all but the one thing
we do know it’s going to be hot…hot…HOT! And all about love!
Give readers more to drool
over, sigh and love about our work as we share our special love stories with
them. Show readers that happily-ever-afters start with some fantastic moments,
be it soft and gentle or rough and fast. We love the good parts of the stories
where the characters are making love or about to be loved and even the morning
after. Forever. We love all the parts that show us the sexy characters we’ve
come to care about. Share each and every moment with us this week! Basically,
sexy me once! More if you can…we love it all!
If your story has one or more
of these fabulous moments with some very sexy, hot characters in a love that’s
destined to last forever, please share them with us…share all those sexy
moments that you have between your characters even if your story doesn’t exactly fit the theme this week…remember
every relationship is important!
Sexy can be anything, such as
romantic moments like walks on the beach, a home cooked meal or even in another
galaxy. It could be two lovers here on Earth dreaming about the day where they
go on a magical vacation to another planet. Or staying right here at one of
those wonderful places we can find in our own world.
Readers want to see those
characters, the ones who can’t get enough of each other as well as ones who are
fighting their way back to being part of the world once again. These are the
types of characters they can’t forget, the one they want to take home and keep
forever. Readers love the kisses, the looks or touch of each and every one of our
characters.
Sexy has nothing to do with
looks or status or even wealth. It doesn’t demand perfection and it isn’t
pretentious but it does make us want to read those books.
We know that everyone has
their own idea of sexy and we all love sexy!
