Welcome to the 79th
week of My Sexy Saturday.
This week’s theme is A Sexy
Valentine and is our nod to Valentine’s Day. It’s not every day that we land on
the most important holiday for romance writers. But we did and decided to use
it to our best advantage. Have you ever had a special Valentine’s Day or
moment? One where your significant other did something spectacular for you. Or
how about that husband who knew all you wanted was a good night’s sleep and
made sure you got it. Then there are those moments where you get a special gift
you don’t know is coming. Sometimes it’s flowers, or chocolates or even an
engagement ring. Just something to show just how special you are to your one
and only.
Now again remember, great
times don’t always have to start out nice or wonderful or even memorable but at
some point during the day, things change. Suddenly what we thought was going to
be an average day because we didn’t see anything special, becomes awe inspiring
and very different. Just at the moment where we thought the day would just be
like any other, our love has sent or given something to us. Something that
makes us remember why the day is for lovers.
Valentine’s doesn’t have to
be all about where they went, what they saw or anything to do with the day
itself. It can be all about attitude, where an emotional change happens and you
realize this is the one that’s going to make you happy forever. And it can
happen anywhere: a horse stall, a spaceship, a planetary moon, a restaurant
over a good meal or maybe over that special picnic your lover has put together.
The point is loves happens and we want to know all about those moments on this
very special day for lovers.
There’s a million ways people
can fall in love and many times it is on Valentine’s. It could be on a date, at
a school dance, on a hike, just anywhere you two might be together during this
day. Still, we know it’s going to be hot…hot…HOT!
Give readers more to drool,
sigh and love about our work as we share our special love stories with them.
Show readers that happily-ever-afters start with some fantastic moments, be it
soft and gentle or rough and fast. We love the good parts of the stories where
the characters are making love or about to be loved and even the morning after.
Forever. We love all the parts that show us the sexy characters we’ve come to
care about. Share each and every moment with us this week!
If your story has one or more
of these fabulous moments with some very sexy, hot characters in a love that’s
destined to last forever, please share them with us…share all those sexy
moments that you have between your characters even if your story doesn’t exactly fit the theme this week…remember
every relationship is important!
Sexy can be anything, such as
romantic moments like walks on the beach, a home cooked meal or even in another
galaxy. It could be two lovers here on Earth dreaming about the day where they
go on a magical vacation to another planet. Or staying right here at one of
those wonderful places we can find in our own world.
Readers want to see those
characters, the ones who can’t get enough of each other as well as ones who are
fighting their way back to being part of the world once again. These are the
types of characters they can’t forget, the one they want to take home and keep
forever. Readers love the kisses, the looks or touch of each and every one of
our characters.
Sexy has nothing to do with
looks or status or even wealth. It doesn’t demand perfection and it isn’t
pretentious but it does make us want to read those books.
We know that everyone has
their own idea of sexy and we all love sexy!
