week of My Sexy Saturday.
Last week we were in the
Captain’s Chair, this week, we’re having a sexy afternoon. And just what constitutes
a sexy afternoon? Well, you tell us…is it that daring adventure to someplace
new then making love all afternoon? Is it that once in a lifetime chance with
someone you thought you’d never have that with?
Sexy afternoons are all about
the couple. It doesn’t matter if they are lovers reunited, first time lovers or
just coming together in the heat of the moment. Sexy afternoons are hot and
steamy and oh, so wonderful.
It doesn’t matter if the
characters are rich, famous or downright bad girls or boys. A sexy afternoon
holds the delights for all of them as they make passionate love in the middle
of the day. Make us believe these characters deserve that awesome sexiness.
Write about the characters that
have survived a war, a lost love, a horrible love, a devastating disease but
somehow still manage to want to make love in the heat of a hot, summer
afternoon or in the cold of a winter day. They are the characters that inspire
you, motivate you to be better than you are. Or more than you are. The ones
that make you cry, make you laugh and on whose journey you want to know what
happens every step of the way.
These are the ones that fall
in love and fall in love deeply, truly, forever. These are those you want on
your side for any situation. And it is those characters that be it writer or
reader, we care for them, wanting to know every aspect of their lives.
Share with us this week those
characters who like coming together in the afternoon. Be it a clandestine rendezvous
or a weekly event, show us why we love, love, love them. Share those scenes
with us this week. From the moment our couple meets, their first hot kiss, to
the fulfillment of a dream, show us the wonders of finding, falling in love and
loving your significant other.
Giving our readers even more
to drool, sigh and love about our stories is our number one goal. Let’s show
our readers that happily-ever-afters start with some special moments, be it
soft and gentle or rough and fast. We love good parts of the stories where the
characters are making love or about to be loved. Forever. Share each and every
moment with this week!
If your story has one or more
of these fabulous afternoon love scenes, please share them with us…if you don’t
have a sexy afternoon scene…share those sexy moments that you do have between
your characters. Every relationship is important!
Sexy can be anything such as
romantic moments like walks on the beach, a home cooked meal or even in another
galaxy. It could be two lovers here on Earth dreaming about the day where they
go on a magical vacation to another planet. Or staying right here at one of
those wonderful places we can find in our own world.
Readers want to see those
characters, the ones who can’t get enough of each other as well as ones who are
fighting their way back to being part of the world once again. These are the
types of characters they can’t forget, the one they want to take home and keep
forever. Readers love the kisses, the looks or touch of each and every one of
our characters.
Sexy has nothing to do with
looks or status or even wealth. It doesn’t demand perfection and it isn’t
pretentious but it does make us want to read those books.
We know that everyone has
their own idea of sexy and we all love sexy!
