Welcome to the 49th
week of My Sexy Saturday.
This week is all about our sexy
heroines. You know the gals we’re talking about. We’re talking about those ladies who may
start as a timid mouse and by the end of the book, we hear them roar. Or how
about those heroines are kick-ass from the get-go. Or those who are wonderfully
patriotic about their country. Even those who save their heroes over and over
again. It could even be those who don’t realize they are saving anyone until
the fact is done.
These are the women who make
us groan with some of their decisions, make us delight in their every move as
we watch them fall in love, reunite with an old lover or just come together in
the heat of the moment. It doesn’t matter if the lady is rich, famous or a farm
girl. She even could be a bad girl the hero is hoping to rehabilitate. Sexy
holds delights for all our ladies as they fall in love or make passionate love anywhere
or any time.
Write about those women who
have survived a war, a lost love, a horrible love, a devastating event or
illness but somehow still manage to want to find a love that completes them
into having a full life. These are the women
that inspire you, motivate you to be better than you are or more than you are.
The ones that make you cry, make you laugh and on whose journey you want to
know what happens every step of the way.
These are the ones that fall
in love and fall in love deeply, truly, forever. A woman like this is someone
you want on your side for any situation. And it is these women that you, writer
or reader, care for and want to know every aspect of their lives as each page
unfolds the story.
Share with us this week those
women aren’t afraid to show that they love someone. Pepper their existence with
a clandestine rendezvous or a weekly event, show us why we love, love, love
them. Share those scenes with us this week. From the moment our sexy lady meets
their significant other, their first hot kiss, to the fulfillment of a dream,
show us the wonders of finding, falling in love and loving your significant
other.
Giving our readers even more
to drool, sigh and love about our stories is our number one goal. Let’s show
our readers that happily-ever-afters start with some special moments, be it
soft and gentle or rough and fast. We love the good parts of the stories where
the characters are making love or about to be loved. Forever. Frankly, we love
all the parts that show us the characters we’ve come to care about. Share each
and every moment with us this week!
If your story has one or more
of these fabulous love scenes, please share them with us…even if it’s not a lady
story…share those sexy moments that you do have between your characters. Every
relationship is important!
Sexy can be anything, such as
romantic moments like walks on the beach, a home cooked meal or even in another
galaxy. It could be two lovers here on Earth dreaming about the day where they
go on a magical vacation to another planet. Or staying right here at one of
those wonderful places we can find in our own world.
Readers want to see those
characters, the ones who can’t get enough of each other as well as ones who are
fighting their way back to being part of the world once again. These are the
types of characters they can’t forget, the one they want to take home and keep
forever. Readers love the kisses, the looks or touch of each and every one of
our characters.
Sexy has nothing to do with
looks or status or even wealth. It doesn’t demand perfection and it isn’t
pretentious but it does make us want to read those books.
We know that everyone has
their own idea of sexy and we all love sexy!
