We want you to show us those very special scenes when a characters sexiness is front and center. We want to know the sexy the things they say to each other, the things they whisper. Give us the details about them and their significant other: are they new lovers? Old lovers reunited? Afraid they won’t click? Or are they just afraid they’ve made the biggest mistake of their lives? How will these moments relate to the rest of the story for your wonderful characters? These moments can be made even more exciting as they can happen anywhere in the universe as tincture of life, water, isn’t something that just happens on Earth. Yeah, just gotta throw in that sci-fi slant.

So this week show us all about the sexiness of your characters, how they relate to each other and how they relate to us as readers. We love those characters. Welcome to the 61^st week of My Sexy Saturday.

The theme this week is all about getting your sexy on…no matter what your age. We’ve talked over and over again that everyone has their own idea of sexy. What is sexy to one person won’t necessarily be sexy to another. Yet, getting one’s sexy on is a driving theme no matter what the age of the character, no matter what situation they are in, be it life or death. You know as an author what we’re talking about. These are the characters who are ageless and always seem to be getting their sexy on. They can be a farmer’s daughter or the farmer, they can be a doctor’s wife or the doctor, they can even be a billionaire or his wonderful assistant.

Everyone has that special significant other who makes them feel special, who makes them get their sexy on. Maybe in the beginning, they don’t even know just what’s going on. But they know something is because they feel different around the person. Their senses are heightened, they just know when that person enters a room because they can feel the electricity between them. They feel sexy every time that special someone is close.

Every romance book has this sexual tension where the couple is getting to know each other, where something is happening that neither can deny or quite explain. It just is and it makes them feel sexy, wanted, desired. They can also have these feelings when their relationship has aged and they’ve been together for a while. It doesn’t matter just where they are in their relationship, they just feel sexy around each other.

Those stories stuck with you, those characters made an impression on you and romance became something special and interesting and oh so compelling for you as a reader and writer. This week, show us the characters who make each other feel that way. Again, these are the characters who are just starting a relationship or they’ve been together forever or they are somewhere in between. Welcome to the 59^th week of My Sexy Saturday.

Remember the movie ‘He’s Not That Into You’? Well, this is the opposite of that movie. There the heroine actually had to fight her way to get her man but the biggest obstacle was the man himself. How about the characters that are over the top about each other, regardless of the situation? The ones who can never keep their hands off one another. The ones you know will be that little old couple you see at the park, still holding hands after 50 years. It’s those couples we are talking about this week.

Now, that does not mean there aren’t obstacles in their way. There could be plenty. These are the characters that would die for each other should the need present itself. Yes, they are that into each other. That awareness could have come in an instant or it could have built over time but the fact remains that it is there. And that’s this week’s theme.

Show us the characters who love each other so much that it doesn’t matter where they are: shack, other planet, a place ravaged by war, the millionaire’s estate. They just want to be with each other, love each other and be together always, no matter how long or short the time.
