Welcome to the 100^th week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme is We’re Sexy HOT! There are so many things we can think about saying at this momentous time. We never thought we’d get to nearly two years of doing a blog hop. We thought people would lose interest and move along. And we were WRONG, so wrong. That’s a wonderful thing. So from here on out, we’re going to let you decide how to interpret the theme. We’ll post it, give you a line or two and let you, the author do the rest. You know what we think is sexy and if you’re new to the blog, look at any of the past weeks. We don’t need to explain it. Sexy is sexy and everyone has their own idea of sexy.

We do want to let all the readers know about our End-of-Summer Anniversary Bash that we place to have the third week of September. Summer is always such a busy time and as this week is the official week, our founder is at a conference. Then there are the family obligations, the vacations and other things we all do in these months. That is why it was decided to hold the bash after summer was over.

But enough about us, this is all about you, the author, and your work, the sexy snippet. Remember that your characters are all sexy and we want to hear about the places they go. Welcome to the 99^th week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme is Keeping It Sexy and we’re thinking about all the wonderful things that lovers do to and for each other. Think about those special vacations, those sexy beach or mountain homes or maybe it’s just a fun day at the spa. Or taking a ride in the latest spaceship or seeing the home they’ve built together for the very first time. There are things that all lovers do to keep their love fresh, alive and inviting to each other. It’s all those special sexy environments that we’re talking about.

Again, this theme has no genre, no rules except that the characters are all sexy and the places they go just add to the sexiness of the story. Your characters are great lovers and just overall great to date or marry or just be around. They take their significant other to the most special places. They may be rich, poor, or the boy/girl next door. They could be a spaceship captain, a cowboy or the billionaire seeking to find that special significant other by taking his date to his special spot. The one thing we do know is that they are hot, hot, HOT!

So this week, make them hot, make them sexy and make us sigh in anticipation. We love how you weave your tales to enchant us, to entice us and to leave us with that ‘ah’ moment through the way characters interact with words, situations and each other. Again, we leave the particulars up to you since you do it so, so well. Remember, our sexiness can happen anywhere, anytime, day or night. People fall in love in many different ways. It could be on a date, at a school dance, on a hike, with the boy or girl next door, just anywhere two or sometimes more people or beings are drawn together because of that feeling called love.

We all know that love happens and we want to know all about those special moments where those entities realize there is an emotional bond between one another through their words and actions. It can happen on an average day, during the night, in the middle of a zombie invasion or maybe a place where it’s hard to tell the day from the night like in a submarine or deep in space. Adventures one and all but the one thing we do know it’s going to be hot…hot…HOT!

Readers want to see those characters, the ones who can’t get enough of each other as well as ones who are fighting their way back to being part of the world once again. These are the types of characters they can’t forget, the one they want to take home and keep forever. Readers love the kisses, the looks or touch of each and every one of our characters. 

Sexy has nothing to do with looks or status or even wealth. It doesn’t demand perfection and it isn’t pretentious but it does make us want to read those books.

We know that everyone has their own idea of sexy and we all love sexy!
